Let’s kick off with something mind-blowing:Imagine having a credit card that doesn’t use money. Instead, it uses Instagram Stories as currency. Wild, right? This isn’t sci-fi. It’s real. While influencers and content creators are often a divisive topic (a whole other conversation), there’s no denying that this space has opened doors to opportunities and connections for many of us.Now, back to this credit card. Here’s the deal:You pay with your social media presence. Businesses that accept this unique currency include Michelin-star restaurants, nightclubs, sports and beach clubs, perfumeries, and spas. All for the price of a few Instagram Stories. What does this mean for us in the creator economy?New revenue streams:We can now leverage our social media influence directly. No middlemen.More opportunities:Brands will look at genuine engagement more than ever.Enhanced value:Our social presence just got a whole lot more tangible. My take? This is just the beginning. The creator economy is evolving rapidly, and this innovative credit card is a glimpse into the future. It shows how powerful our digital presence can be and how it can translate into real-world benefits.I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Could this be the future of currency?#BrookeMonk #DigitalMarketing #ContentCreation

This will begin disrupting the talent management industry. I was watching Grace Beverly's podcast about their new company, Retrograde, a new AI tool that connects creators/influencers to brands directly and I think this is the beginning of how the creator economy will change. There are still ways to go, but I think this will be a game-changer.

Yuck. No. There's something to be said for modesty, and not feeling like you have to broadcast your life. This makes as much sense as you throwing a selfie in this post for no reason at all.

This the human version of “fractionalized assets”. Instagram stories are simply fractional exposés into the lifestyle of another individual; should we as a society accept monetization of each other’s snippets of time, we will eventually normalize the assumption & assertion that segmented portions of the human body are fungible in some fashion. Guaranteed, these ideas will lead to a slippery slope where another person’s mind, their genitalia & anything in between can be marketed, manipulated like a penny stock & outright claimed to be owned by a corporate entity/the state. But yeah, “social currency” sounds cuter than what it actually is.

BLACK MIRROR!! 😳I’m a creator and work with brands and I understand and benefi from the value and currency of attention … BUT we are already OVERWHELMED with fake “influencers” and creators.. talk about COUNTERFIT… BUT here is where it gets scary Sci-Fi… go on Netflix and watch the Black Mirror “Nosedive” episode with Bryce Dallas Howard and get back with me!!! We aren’t that far off from this type of dystopian future…. Thanks but NO.

OK ROUND 2… see my orig comment…. BUT this is what it will breed. There is a guy I know on IG who has 2M followers… highly curated. Looks important and successful.. BUT if you look at his 10K likes per post. 90% (no exaggeration) are bought, fake, bots, third world non English speaker new accounts who have 0 posts and follow 2 people. Sorry I don’t think this finance bro “social entrepreneur” in Maryland is connecting with all of those followers. But it’s all ILLUSION … in this world he would be wealthy… but is he? We all no creators like that. Idk. I think its a dangerous road…. But I also think its inevitable

This could be a new and very exciting way for the average person to persue an above average life style. That in and of itself isn't at all a bad thing, however I could easily see how this might contribute to a system similar to the Chinese "Social Credit". Basically making it so that people who choose not conform to social norms are barred from eating at certain places which should be public. For instance, if this method of payment replaced traditional currency it could prevent and even punish individuals for standing up for their unique ideas and opinions. Stripping the average person of their autonomy and freedom of speech.

Is Social Credit the Future of Payments or a Cause for Concern? In the age of digital evolution, where every post, tweet, and hashtag holds value, we're witnessing a new frontier: social credit cards. Imagine this—you pay for goods and services not just with money, but with your influence. Post a photo of your recent purchase on Instagram, tag the brand, and in return, you receive credits to spend on onthehouse influencer cardSounds innovative, right? But is it too good to be true? Here’s the potential upside. For influencers and everyday users, this opens up an avenue where their digital footprint directly translates into financial benefits. Brands get a marketing boost through user-generated content, and users feel more empowered with a social currency that truly reflects their online presence. It's a win-win.But on the flip side, this concept could shift the value of a person from who they are to how they perform online. What happens when your value is tied to your follower count, engagement rate, or a viral post? Does that create a new form of financial discrimination where those with less influence have fewer opportunities to "earn"?As we move closer to blending social and financial ecosystems, the need for ethical consideration becomes more urgent. Will this system empower or marginalize? What are your thoughts? Could social credit-based payment systems be the future of finance, or is it a step toward an unsettling reality?#FutureOfPayments #DigitalCurrency #InfluencerEconomy #Marketing #TechTrends

Hello #connections now here and there you must be listening this decision for #stockmarket that the taxes are increased. And many influencers making videos that #crash coming. But let them make some ad revenue by scary you tube thumbnails of market crash. Market is just 2% down from the top that too in 5 days and that's not the sign of crash, people don't get a chance to exit when crashes happen. What I'm thinking is that these are just some shakeouts to kick out the weak holders as I have shared previously too.Just one thing #banknifty will be the one to watch.#nifty #trading #technicalanalysis #stockmarketindia #money #finance
